The Brief: The client wanted to replace all the loose pine bark and soil to create a cozy courtyard and improve access to the drying yard in winter. We suggested an intimate courtyard with a combination of beautiful, soft elements such as small pebbles, ornamental grasses, small flowering shrubs such as Brachycome, Sutera, Erigeron & Mini agapanthus that can cope with semi-shade conditions. We also used an artificial lawn (Synsport Lux) & pavers as ground cover.
